Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths, And my age is as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah Psalm 39:5
So little time is left.
Make every minute count.
Try as much as you are able to glorify the Lord in all that you do.
Living for yourself will not yield much fruit and it is so hard to see sometimes.
We all have our commissions.
If you don’t know for sure what yours is, seek the Lord.
He will tell you, He will make it clear.
Time does not stop for anyone or anything.
It keeps going just like the globe keeps spinning.
The sun shines in the day and the moon in the night as time flies by.
That does not mean you should not rest.
Resting is vital for our well-being.
Resting in the Lord is the most satisfying,
knowing you have done what you could for Him in each of your missions.
Man is like a breath.
His days are like a shadow that passes away. Psalm 144:4 WEB
Our lives are but a breath.
Be faithful, be true to what you know God has given you and shown you.
Seek His face continually and let the world pass you by as you focus on Him.
The other things you might miss are faint in comparison to Jesus.
He is the treasure we get to find and uncover while we are on Earth.
Consider your time on Earth like treasure hunt.
See how much of our Savior you have found.
Is more to be discovered?
Is there more time that could be put into learning more of His ways?
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21
