Waiting and Waiting and Waiting on God

Waiting on God can take you to your farthest limits
Farther than you thought you might be able to go
Waiting on God means you have to
put your flesh into submission to your spirit,
which then needs to be put into submission to God’s Spirit
Such a complex process with emotions trying to take over
Feelings of despair, bringing up concerns that can happen
until you know things are settled

Remember the last time you were in this predicament?
How God came through for you?
Yes, I mean no
How quickly we forget
The waiting part is so difficult
You know what He has shown you or told you
and you have to wait and wait and wait some more

If He would just take care of things, things would be better,
life would be better
His idea of time and our idea of time is almost always different
He might be teaching us to trust Him,
that even though the promise is delayed, it will surely come
Maybe He’s building our faith?
Could that be it?

What does faith really mean?
Complete trust or confidence in someone or something:
That is the simple meaning

This is from the HELPS Word Studies
It was found in the Summary Concordance section on biblehub.com:
The Lord continuously births faith in the yielded believer so they can know what He prefers, i.e. the persuasion of His will (1 Jn 5:4)…It is God’s warranty that guarantees the fulfillment of the revelation He births within the receptive believer (cf. 1 Jn 5:4 with Heb 11:1). Faith (4102/pistis) is always received from God, and never generated by us.

Okay, so with the natural mind, we can understand the waiting part
Once the spiritual mind takes hold of it,
then that is earnestly taking hold of the promise
As it says above, Faith is always received from God, never generated by us
That can be difficult without humility
We want what we want and can be used to doing things ourselves,
making things happen
When we are operating in faith, we are relying on God and His promises
that He has birthed within us:

The Lord continuously births faith in the yielded believer so they can know what He prefers, i.e. the persuasion of His will (1 Jn 5:4).

The root of faith means Divine Persuasion

Delight thyself also in the Lord;
and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4
If we delight ourselves in God, He will give us the desires of our heart
Our desires must first be in Him,
which they will be if we delight ourselves in Him

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10
Which sometimes means waiting until God’s timing
Rejoice in His will, and that He has shared it with you, whenever that is
Keep praying and let that divine persuasion do its work in your heart and life
