None of us knows it all, none of us has everything all figured out
We know in part
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come,
then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child,
I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
1 Corinthians 13:9-12
Some say, “I’m not a prophet”,
which means ‘I don’t know what is going to happen’.
Even prophets do not know everything.
They know what God reveals to them.
None of us knows how everything is going to play out.
The Word of God teaches us all things,
but even so, not every part is shown to us.
People like to figure things out with their human intellect.
That may or may not be truth or the completeness of the Word.
Even if we receive the interpretation of a passage by the Holy Spirit
does not mean we understand everything there is to know.
We will know more one day, when we meet Jesus face to face.
The way to make it through this life is to follow Jesus and His Holy Spirit
so that those deficits we have while on this earth
will not hinder us from serving Him and doing His will and finishing our race.
If we ever get too solid in what we believe, that is pride.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways,
and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9
The Holy Spirit may have more to show you.
God’s Word is alive. There are also many mysteries to be revealed.
Always be teachable and always be listening to God.
Like everything we have to test all things with The Bible.
The caution here is don’t be too sure you have anything figured out.
That does not mean what He has already taught you is not valid.
On the contrary, there is just more to learn, always.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. John 16:12
God can and does teach us more as we go along.
Being humble and contrite, casting down our vain imaginations
and always yearning to learn more about Jesus and His word is pleasing to God.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God,
and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:
but we know that, when He shall appear,
we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2
