For we walk by faith, not by sight
2 Corinthians 5:7
There are two main ways to look at things as Christians:
in the spiritual or in the natural
The flesh and the spirit
Pleasing God, pleasing man or ourselves
It never stops
A warring battle
What we can see, feel and hear
battles against the living God that indwells us
Who wins?
We’d like to answer that by saying God
The fact of the matter is that each moment we are choosing
Jesus said in the Sermon in the Mount,
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:19
Jesus was talking of the fulfillment of the Law
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Matthew 5:17
The Law of God helps us to know what He expects
It can be difficult to do and simple to understand:
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this;
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Galatians 5:14
