When you don’t See Eye to Eye

This can happen to your friends
Being unequally yoked
Some people do not give their lives fully to the Lord
They seek man’s wisdom and believe what the world tells them
Instead of listening to the Spirit
It can be hard to decipher, who is right and who is wrong?

Several months ago, I saw one of my friends in her spiritual state
It was very concerning
Her eyes were blinded
They were coated with scales and hardened crust
She didn’t know she was blinded
I knew exactly what it was
She does not seek the word for answers,
she likes to put together the information she gathers from worldly sources
in a logical sense
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,
that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him. James 1:5

A stark contrast occurred a few years ago,
there was a first Woman’s March
where women were wearing vagina caps on their heads
This symbolized women’s rights over their bodies
and so that women can kill their unborn children if they choose to
I know how God sees abortion
It is written about in the 10 Commandments, Thou Shalt not Kill
He loves each and every being that He created
The March was large and strong
My friend participated in that March and so did all of her daughters
It was a very worldly noble cause
All the people who participated in it were so glad to be helping other women to stand up for their rights, against God
They didn’t see anything wrong with it
Only that women have rights over their own bodies
This friend and I have many differences in the way we look at things,
the way we gather information, what we believe,
how we seek the Lord
This can cause division
The differences can be ignored most of the time,
then it seems something will come up where there is an impasse
It’s not up to us to point out the difference,
unless it seems impossible to avoid

Most people we encounter will not be at the same level we are with the Lord They might be farther along or not as interested in the things of God
and they may just want to slide by,
doing as much good as they can in an earthly sense
Not remembering that we are the branches and Jesus is the vine
I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing
. John 15:5

We are saved by His grace
If we try to earn our way to salvation,
we are never going to be able to measure up
Salvation is a gift
It is not something we can earn or pay for with all of our good deeds
Salvation is also not a right it is a gift that Jesus gives as He sees fit
It is certainly not something we should take for granted or feel entitled to

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation
unto all them that obey him. Hebrews 5:9
