For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness,
hath shined in our hearts,
to give the light of the knowledge
of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6
But we have this treasure of His Power in our earthen vessels, our bodies,
that the excellency of His Power may be purely of God,
and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7
That scripture is very straight, very clear,
the way we are to consider ourselves
vessels of His Power and not owners of His Power
We are jars of clay, we hold the Power of God
but we do not have the Power separate from Him
We do not own the power, we are not to use it without His guidance,
but to let Him use us as vessels of His Power
He uses us to demonstrate His Power
and to show His glory in us and through us
That same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
he that raised up Christ from the dead
shall also quicken your mortal bodies
by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11
That is a lot of Power but it does not belong to us
nor is it for us
It is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Glory
