For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13
God is always looking for those hearts that will turn to Him,
who will call upon Him, look to Him
For the eyes of the Lord search the whole earth
Looking for those hearts perfect toward Him
And it shall come to pass,
that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered:
for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance,
as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call. Joel 2:32
There is a promise for those who call upon Him
They will be saved
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,
I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh:
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens
I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
And I will shew wonders in heaven above,
and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
And it shall come to pass,
that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:16-21
That means God’s Spirit will be moving on the earth
with a great last call to invoke all those who dwell on the earth
He will even be so kind as to show signs and wonders
and anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved
Jesus loves each and every one of us
He died for each and every one of us
He is watching, listening to see if we will call upon Him
Not only us but all inhabitants of the earth
Each one will have a chance
It baffles me that in Revelation,
people choose to curse God rather than call out to Him:
And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. Revelation 16:11
Humans’ refusal to call out to God occurs in another place in Revelation:
And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues
yet repented not of the works of their hands,
that they should not worship devils,
and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood:
which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries,
nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. Revelation 9:20-21
When the sifting begins, when God is pouring out His Spirit,
when He is showing signs and wonders and reaching out to all mankind,
there will be some who refuse Him
I suppose it will be the majority since Jesus said:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life,
and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:14
Trust that Jesus will reach out to each person,
that they will each have a choice to choose Him or not
We must pray, trust, spread the gospel,
no matter what the cost be to our flesh
He will reward us and we do not want to be on the wrong side of eternity
or even more importantly, the wrong side of God
Scriptural References:
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth,
to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart
is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly:
therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
2 Chronicles 16:9
