Peter said unto Him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. Matthew 26:35
Peter and the disciples boasted in their own strength
Their own strength failed them
We all need to rely on God’s strength
Honor and dignity before the Lord is not honor and dignity
Those are attributes we lay down before the Lord
Jesus is the One who gives us honor
He will exalt us and bless us in many ways when we bow before Him
His strength is made perfect in weakness
If our strength is resisting the ability to show our weakness to the Lord,
how can we recognize or accept His strength?
If our own strength is battling the strength of the Lord, we will surely fall
And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:
for My strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 1 Corinthians 12:9
