I plead my case before the Lord.
He does not always side with me like I’d like Him to.
I petition and tell Him my side of things.
He listens.
He will allow me to see as He does, how He views the matter.
No matter how plain my cause.
Oftentimes, He allows me to know I am right, but that He wants me to let it go.
I guess that is better than saying, The other guy is right. That happens, too.
The answers from the Lord do not come easy.
Well, I guess that is because I am not always ready to hear them.
Neither am I ready to be humble.
Jesus is always so patient and kind to me, He lets me get it all out, lets me continue to protest.
Sometimes there is nothing more to say, but I repeat myself.
It has all been said. Then, it’s time for the feelings of unfairness die down.
When God says He’s got it, He sees what happened and He knows, that is usually enough.
That is usually more than enough.
Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth Me,
that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness,
in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 9:23-24
