God’s Judgment

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying,
Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,
and is become the habitation of devils,
and the hold of every foul spirit,
and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird
. Revelation 18:2

What would bring God’s Judgment to the world, to America, specifically?
Is God angry at us, will He forgive us if we ask?
Maybe individually. For the nation as a whole, it’s too late.
Judgment is falling.

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

2 Corinthians 8:2

Let’s look at why Sodom fell:
Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread,
and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters,
neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
And they were haughty, and committed abomination before Me:
therefore I took them away as I saw good.
Ezekiel 16:49-50

God will take away those
who commit similar or worse evil against Him as He sees fit
A repentance due to not wanting to get punished is much different than realizing that Jesus is Lord and you want to serve Him because He is Holy

The Bible has foretold many events that will occur before the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord:
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids
in those days will I pour out my spirit.
And I will shew wonders in the heavens
and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.
And it shall come to pass,
that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered:
for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance,
as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

Joel 2:28-32
