Sometimes it is hard to wait.
We know from God’s word that He will make all things right.
He will fix the injustices.
They seem to be everywhere.
When He brings about His righteousness, there is no saying how He will do it.
He has His patience and eventually, when He has given people opportunities for repentance,
and they have refused, the hammer will come down.
This is a short conversation I had with the Lord about those who are wicked and seeming to win.
Lord, it is so hard to see them keep harming others and it seems nothing happens to them.
“You shall see the destruction of the wicked. They will be running to and fro in fear.
You will be an anchor in Me.”
I believe that is for many of us who are already steadfast in the Lord.
Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth Me,
that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:
for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 9:23-24
