Make time in your day for Jesus.
Spend time with Him whenever you can.
Absorb His unfailing love while in His presence.
And then, reciprocate.
How do we spend time with God? How do we even start?
God has feelings.
He made each of us for His pleasure.
That is very important to realize:
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:
for Thou hast created all things,
and for Thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11
It is not up to anyone to tell you how to spend time with God
or how much time to spend. We each can hear from the Lord if we listen.
You two, that is You and Jesus, can come up with what works for you.
Determine how much time you read, meditate on His word, study, pray, fast,
and basking in His presence by discussing with Jesus.
Time with Jesus might be concrete, it might be fluid.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: John 10:27
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Matthew 13:16
If the Lord Jesus has given you eyes to see and ears to hear,
don’t squander your time or your attention for the Lord.
Seek Him.
Keep Him at the center of your heart and mind.
He has much to share with each of us.
Find the treasures He has for you.
They will be better than any other riches you can possibly imagine.
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard,
nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside Thee,
what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him. Isaiah 64:4
