Jesus is the Good News
He is the gospel
The four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are all about Jesus
He is God
That is the message
Jesus is the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords
He came to Earth in human form
He died and rose again
Because of the price He paid on the cross,
He gives us Eternal Life in His kingdom, now and forever
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15;13
Our responsibility is to share what Jesus has done for us and even for all mankind
We have been given The Great Commission:
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
He created us for His pleasure
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:
for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11
There is no better news
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
