For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights,
with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children,
how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him? Matthew 7:11
He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all,
how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:29
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;
to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits;
to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit,
dividing to every man severally as He will. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
Honor the Giver.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness,
and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be My people,
and I will be your God. Ezekiel 36:25-28
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth;
and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
If you want gifts from Jesus, ask Him, they will be given on His terms.
These gifts are not the same as our ideas of gifts. They are often not material, but are spiritual.
He also wants us to share what He has given us and what He has done for us with all who will listen.
Jesus loves each and every one of us and wishes for us to accept the gift of Salvation.
