Each time we engage with the world wide web, we are becoming more entangled.
Hold it loosely.
Allowing access to our finances means we are losing control and they are taking more ground.
There will come a time when we will not be able to use society’s main monetary system,
that is, if we choose to follow Jesus.
We must prepare even within our hearts.
If we remain too intertwined, it will be harder to refuse when the time comes.
We will not have an easy exit once we cut the ties.
Remembering the Lord’s warnings of not being able to buy or sell unless we accept the Mark of the Beast.
We will be lied to, and, if we are not carefully watching and praying, deceived into thinking it is okay to accept.
God’s word is very clear, if anyone accepts the Mark of the Beast or the number of his name, there is no going back.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,
If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels,
and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night,
who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:9-11
This is the truth of God’s word.
People will excuse themselves.
God is trying to teach us all how to trust Him because of this deception is coming upon the world.
We will have choices, like we have every day,
whether or not we will serve Jesus and remain faithful and true to Him even in the face of hardships. Those hardships are coming and even when He provides for us,
we may find ourselves similarly with the attitude of the Israelites when they were in the wilderness.
We may long for our comforts and our special melons and other delicacies we are used to.
Let Jesus prepare you for discomfort and for what is coming upon the world.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:25
