In the world, you can have friends in high places.
In the spiritual realm, if you have friends in high places,
you can only be speaking of God and those in His kingdom.
The angels are servants of God. They are not our servants, they are God’s servants.
We don’t order them around, God does.
Additionally, we don’t order God around as I have heard many do.
What we do in the spiritual realm is not to gain power or to triumph over evil. God has already done that.
Our spiritual significance means nothing..
Our hope, prayers, and benefits in the Kingdom of God
are there because of our affiliation with God and His son Jesus Christ.
Speaking very loudly is not commanded. The mix up is that people think they need to fight spiritual battles in the natural.
Not the case. Elevate Jesus in the situation and your battle will be won.
We have no rights apart from Jesus.
We trust Him, we look to Him, we glorify Him, we honor Him, we celebrate Him.
Some might say, He gives us all authority, while that is true, it still is not separate from God.
The minute we think we are on our own and don’t need God, we are in a tangled mess of a web.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing. John 15:5
Anyone who teaches you that you have all power on your own has taught you incorrectly.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
Matthew 28:18
Our position is to lift Jesus up. Like Moses’ hand was kept lifted and they won the battle.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:
and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19
Yes. Even this is not without the Lord. Whose power? Jesus’ power, not our power.
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice,
because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:20
