God shows you something.
Somehow you know.
He implants faith.
He has given every man the measure of faith.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you,
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly,
according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3
We can strengthen our faith by reading the word of God and acting upon what we believe.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
Without faith, we can lose hope.
With faith, we can believe what God has shown us and told us and given us.
A very important part of faith is to accept God’s word whether it is pleasant or not.
Case in point:
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried;
and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Revelation 2:10
Jesus gave us many warnings. He did this so we would be able to keep our faith,
even in the face of adversity.
Waiting and Trusting and Believing.
Jesus is coming very soon.
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20
