James 1:5 says:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him.
We all know King Solomon asked for wisdom above all and he got it.
But what about asking for other people to get Godly wisdom?
I exhort therefore, that, first of all,
supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-3
We are clearly able to pray for others, but what about wisdom?
We surely can pray for them as led by the Holy Spirit.
We need to learn how to pray His perfect will, which is not always what we think it is.
During difficult circumstances, I seek to hear the Lord’s will,
to pray with understanding and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, to be praying God’s perfect will.
Jesus will come through for you. When you don’t know how to pray, keep praying and seeking Gpd’s will.
He will show His will to you.
He will give you wisdom in prayer.
When He does, you will know it and it will be given with a measure of faith
to believe He can and will do His will.
Don’t just pray any prayer and call it good.
If you are seeking God’s will, you will find it and your prayer will be powerful.
Be confident in seeking His will and finding His will that you may pray effectively according to His will.
And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that,
if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:
And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. 1 John 5:14-15
