If you reject God’s wisdom, you will fall into a deep pit.
You will be tossed about like a withering flag whose threads are frayed as it tries to stand for something.
The ugliness of weakness, the lack of courage to stand for Jesus and His word will become a blank stare.
You will not be able to find the spiritual importance of it and will begin to pull it apart with human logic.
Any one who has rejected God’s wisdom, which can be found all the way through His word, will find pain.
That person will have pain not knowing right from wrong, good from evil and their purpose will be tossed about.
And, they may even cause others pain and suffering.
They will question their own motives and will not be able to find solid ground.
The liars in wait will be plenty.
The spoil will seem lavish and will polarize their very core.
You will notice those who sought God’s wisdom throughout the bible, both in instruction and in practice.
Never put lousy human logic above God’s wisdom.
There is no comparison and yet, some do not value God’s wisdom.
Lack of appreciating God’s wisdom will cause a snare.
We are warned about it in the Book of Proverbs:
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. Proverbs 8:35-36
God reminds us that His ways are higher than our ways (see Isaiah 55)
And we are told to cast down our vain imaginations. (see 2 Corinthians 10)
All through The Bible are reminders that we are to be humble before God’s word.
Do not reject God’s wisdom.
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended,
and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not:
for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house;
and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Matthew 7:24-27
