Jesus often spoke in parables.
People cannot understand God’s word with human intellect.
His word is a treasure that very few will ever realize.
His ways are so different than what we find in the world.
I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9
Do you have to try to understand The Bible?
Some will never even open a bible and read it.
Some will think there is no point. They do not believe what they have heard and will not even try.
God is watching. He sees every heart. He knows those who are responding to His Holy Spirit’s calling.
While the gift of Salvation is free for every single soul, many will never taste of that gift.
Why?
Is it Jesus’ choice or ours?
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth,
to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.
Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. 2 Chronicles 16:9
So, if God’s eyes are searching for those whose hearts are perfect toward Him,
He will find them and they will respond to Him.
Our hearts are only perfect in God’s sight due to the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ,
who shed His blood that we may be cleansed from our sins.
Keep asking, seeking, and knocking.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. Matthew 13:16
